The Milan Project |
What would you title this photo? The photos on this page are from my 2006 trip to New York, but in December I will be photographing scenes from my trip to Milan for my latest Audience Generated Content Project: Patron Creations from Milan.
Here's how to participate...

"Patrono creazioni This project is a variation of last year's "Name that Painting" project at Jennifer Kincaid Gallery in Eureka. Many people on the mailing list for this project were at that event. That was fun, wasn't it? Let's do it again! Many people have joined my list since Eureka, and I invite you to play along in whatever kind of crazy, elegant or philosophical way you want.
.
Choose a word or phrase... If you need some help thinking of a title, here's some help: You can also do your own Google search of "random phrase generator" or "random sentence generator"
Decide the amount of your contribution... Choose how much you want to pay to participate in the project. This can be:
Click here to email me the title you decided on... If this will be a Christmas gift, I will send your gift recipient a card letting them know a little about the project and asking them to choose their name if you want them to choose their own. .
Make your Paypal contribution... I will send you a Paypal link, or you can click below to go to Paypal now. Once at Paypal, click "Send Money." When it asks you for an email address, use aj@ jenniferkincaid.com.
Look for your artwork to arrive.... When I return, I will select the best photos from the trip and assign the names to them using some random or rational process. The first two weeks in January, I will send all patrons their photos by electronic file and in hard copy.
Come back and view the whole project... I will be posting all the works on my website so everyone who participated can see everyone's photos and titles.
__________ A note to my all of my patrons, past, present and future: I will be using all funds from this project to offset the cost of my trip to GA2008, the 11th Generative Art International Conference in December. This is a very exciting opportunity for me, as it is my first international show – an academic conference at the Milan Polytechnic University which will be attended by over 70 scientists, designers, architects and computer engineers from around the world. It promises to open a lot of doors for me. I want to thank everyone who has supported me by coming to my events, buying my artwork, and always being so positive. Thanks so much for all your support. We have a lot of exciting developments in the works and I'm glad you're along for the ride... it's so fun with you here! ~Cheers, Jennifer _________
